Security and your data

Read-only access, no training on your data, what each role can see.

Overview

Mira is built to be safe to give to the whole company. It reads from the systems you connect and never changes them. It shows each person only the data they are allowed to see. And it never uses your data to train anything.

This page covers the basics. The site's Security page has the full list, and the Terms of Service make the commitments binding.

Who can see what

Each person sees only the tables their departments hold, plus any organisation tables shared with those departments. The same rule applies everywhere: in a chat, on a dashboard and in a report. A person never gets an answer drawn from a table they can't see.

At Kestrel Outdoor, Priya is in Finance and Sales. She can ask about Finance's budget and the HubSpot tables shared with Sales. A colleague in Marketing can't see Finance's tables at all, and their answers never draw on them.

Owners and admins can see every table in the organisation and run its settings. How departments work explains the access levels and department roles, and Members and access shows how to set them.
