Invitations and organisations
Accepting an invitation, switching organisation, leaving one.
Overview
You join an organisation by invitation. Most people belong to one, their employer. Some belong to more than one, such as a consultant working with several clients. Each organisation is separate: its own departments, its own data and its own sessions. This page covers accepting an invitation, moving between organisations, and leaving one.
Accepting an invitation
An invitation arrives by email. How you accept it depends on whether you already use Mira.
New to Mira. Sign in with the email address the invitation went to. Mira greets you with Welcome to MIRA and lists Your invitations. Click the organisation's name to join, or Ignore to turn it down. Once you join, you land on the home screen.
Already in another organisation. Open Settings from the menu under your organisation's name. On your Profile page, a group headed Organisation invitations lists what is waiting. Click Accept or Decline. The group only appears when you have an invitation.
If you expected an invitation and cannot see one, check you signed in with the right email address. If it is right, ask the person who invited you to send it again.
Switching organisation
- Click your organisation's name at the top of the sidebar.
- Point at Switch Organization. A tick marks the organisation you are in.
- Click the one you want, and Mira opens it.
Switch Organization only appears when you belong to more than one. If you have changes that are not saved yet, Mira checks with you before it switches.
What you see after switching belongs to that organisation alone: its departments, its tables and your sessions there. Nothing crosses from one organisation to another.
Leaving an organisation
Leaving removes you from the organisation you have open.
- Open Settings and go to Profile.
- Under Account, find Leave organization and click Leave.
- Mira asks you to confirm. Click Leave organization.
