Exporting to Word
Turning a report into a Word file, and what carries across.
Overview
Export turns a report into a Word file you can send, edit or print. Word is the only format; there is no PDF.
- Open the report in its tab.
- Click Export at the top of the session, beside Style and Update.
- The file downloads, named after the report's title.

What carries across
| Part | In Word |
|---|---|
| Cover | Logo, title, subtitle, period, author, tables used and classification. |
| Table of Contents | The numbered sections. |
| Sections and text | Word headings and paragraphs, bold and italic kept, so the navigation pane works. |
| Tables | Word tables with header row, striped rows and any total row. Columns share the width equally. |
| Figures | Pictures of each chart, sharp enough to print, numbered and captioned. Bar labels follow the Style setting. |
| Callouts and recommendations | Kept, with colours and numbering. |
Two things do not carry across: green and red tinting in table cells, and page size, which comes from Word's own defaults.
