Joining the Digital Catapult Defence Testbed Accelerator
We are thrilled to announce that Dataline Labs (MIRA's parent company) has been named as one of just five startups to join Digital Catapult’s prestigious Defence Testbed Accelerator. This programme acts as a critical bridge between deep tech innovation and the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), aiming to revolutionise industrial supply chain resilience.
The Challenge: Resilient Defence Supply Chains
The UK defence sector faces a critical need to reduce lead times and unify fragmented data systems. The goal is to create a 'federated digital inventory' that allows for the secure, distributed 3D printing of defence assets on demand.
Connecting the Dots with MIRA's Technology
We have been chosen to tackle the Technical Data Packs (TDP)-Digital Inventory Connectors challenge. Working alongside industry partners, we will develop software solutions to securely extract and standardise metadata from complex Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
This initiative represents a significant opportunity to apply the core innovations that drive MIRA—secure data handling, intelligent metadata extraction, and seamless system integration—to the high-stakes world of defence manufacturing. By validating our solutions in this testbed, we are not only contributing to national security but also proving the versatility and robustness of the technology stack that powers MIRA.
We are proud to contribute to a future-ready defence sector.
